Migration of Meeting WorkSpace from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2013

Here is limitation by
Microsoft….Meeting work spaces has been depreciated in SP 2013.
Sites created using the Meeting Workspace site templates that
are upgraded to the SharePoint 2013 user experience will no longer operate in
SharePoint 2013. In the event continued use is necessary while a migration plan
is determined, sites using the Meeting Workspace site template should be
operated in SharePoint 2010 mode. Client integration features when operating in
SharePoint 2010 mode require a 2010 version of the Microsoft Office client. The
Meeting Workspace site templates will be removed completely from the next major
release of SharePoint and sites that were created by using the Meeting
Workspace site templates will not be supported.
Solution:
You can migrate existing
meeting workspaces in this way
- 1. Create a “site template” having list of “attendees”, “Meeting Docs”, “Agenda description”.
- 2. Your meeting space must have more than one meetings there that’s why you need to create one template (reusable every time)
- 3. Create new site every time under one site and start putting all docs and list to new site (New site will be same you previously set as template)
- 4. Using content deployment wizard to move the list and libraries…coz if u use this utility it will bring your meta data along docs and list items …..meta data mean…..name, date, author etc of docs.

Earlier this week we incorrectly referenced Softbank Corporation in this post. We have removed that reference to them at the request of the customer and apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
Yesterday we announced that 1 person is signing up to try Office 365 every 25 seconds, and that enterprises like the American Red Cross have already become Office 365 customers. This comes on the heels of our launch just two weeks ago.
Clearly, Office 365 is a hit with companies of all sizes, and today we are making several announcements that indicate it’s a hit with partners, too.
Since July 2010, the Office 365 partner ecosystem has more than doubled in size – taking us from 16,000 to more than 41,000 partners worldwide. We now officially have the largest partner community for the cloud in the industry, with approximately 10 times more partners than Google!e!

Configuration data is data that controls the program's logic instead of data that controls the business or user logic. An example of configuration data is a connection string to a database. Storage options that SharePoint provides for other types of data are also available for configuration data. The following tables outline the available storage options for configuration data.
